Danger warning over disused quarry at Glyn Rhonwy, Llanberis

People are being urged to report trespassers to police

People are being warned to stay away from a former quarry in Gwynedd in the warm weather because of the dangers it poses.

Gwynedd council is concerned attempts to climb over fencing at Glyn Rhonwy, near Llanberis, in the past may be repeated over the summer.

It said flooded quarry holes which are used for swimming can contain hazards which could lead to injury or death.
