A private company's offer to pay for an Anglesey leisure centre to become more energy efficient has been accepted.
Horizon Nuclear Power will install solar panels and a biomass boiler at Amlwch Leisure Centre after Anglesey council's executive members agreed to the move Monday.
It comes as part of Horizon's pledge to support communities near its planned Wylfa Newydd power plant.
The centre's utility costs are more than £100,000 a year.
Its oil boilers were due to be replaced by 2018 at a cost of about £200,000.
