Child is airlifted to hospital after Snowdonia crash

A child has been airlifted to hospital after a collision involving a minibus and a cyclist on a road in Snowdonia.

An air ambulance and three road ambulances attended the collision between Trefriw and the Llyn Crafnant reservoir in Conwy county.

Two North Wales Fire crews were called to the scene at 16:20 GMT on Wednesday and were on the scene until 19:30.

The child was taken to Alder Hey hospital, Liverpool, and the road was closed after the "serious incident."
