Two men have died following a crash on the A547 in Conwy county.
A black Ford Focus and a silver Vauxhall van were involved in the collision on Abergele Road, Llanddulas, at about 18:10 GMT on Wednesday.
North Wales Police said the driver of the car, from Lancashire, was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger, from Llysfaen, was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd but later died.
The driver of the van suffered minor injuries.
Sgt Leigh Evans said the men's families were being supported by specialist officers.
He added police were keen to speak to people travelling in a small white saloon who were not involved in the collision but might have seen the incident.
The road was initially closed but was reopened shortly after midnight.
