'There is no protection for our historic place names'
A Plaid Cymru AM has reacted angrily to a Welsh Government decision not to support his effort to protect historic place names.
Dai Lloyd wanted to introduce a bill to the assembly to protect the names of houses and farms, fields, natural features and landscapes.
But, despite all opposition groups being in favour, AMs voted against the bill stopping it from proceeding any further in the assembly.
"We're talking history of nation here. Pride in the history of that nation, pride that deserves to be enshrined in law," he said.
