Plaid Cymru leader denies she 'bottled' election bid

The Plaid Cymru leader has denied that she has "bottled" out of a bid to seek election to Westminster.

Leanne Wood was speaking on Tuesday at the party's campaign launch for June's general election.

She claimed Labour was too "weak and divided" to stand up for Wales, saying Plaid Cymru offered voters a "ray of hope".

Ms Wood had considered standing in the Rhondda constituency she won at last year's Welsh Assembly election and was asked by reporter Aled ap Dafydd if this showed she was indecisive.
