Courts oblige victims to face abusers, says MP Liz Saville Roberts
Plaid Cymru MP Liz Saville Roberts is seeking a change in the law to stop abuse victims having to face their abusers in court.
Her bill aims to prevent abusers making claims to the Civil and Family Court simply to further harass their victims.
The Dwyfor Meirionnydd MP gave MPs some examples of victims who had been forced to suffer further torment.
They included a woman who, she said, had lost access to her child for a prolonged period as a result.
