Leanne Wood says Plaid Cymru's mission is to re-ignite hope

Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood has urged her party to pull together and present itself as the only alternative to a Welsh Labour government.

She told activists at their spring conference in Llangollen they needed to unite behind a "positive programme" and "re-ignite hope" among voters.

It follows calls from two Plaid MPs to reposition the party towards the centre and to be open to working with the Tories.
