A man who went missing after being released from prison has been arrested for breaching his licence.

Idris Ali, 45, was last seen in the Swansea area on Saturday, but was found in Cardiff on Wednesday.

He was jailed for five years in the 1990s for the manslaughter of Karen Price, 15, in Cardiff, known as the "body in the carpet" killing.

He was later jailed for 12 years for other offences, including his part in a prison riot.

South Wales Police, who appealed for help in tracing him, said a 45-year-old man was arrested in the Ely area of Cardiff on Wednesday.
