Rail services near Cardiff were affected late on Saturday night after a person died after being struck by a train.

The incident involving an Arriva Trains Wales service from Ebbw Vale to Cardiff happened at 23:30 GMT.

British Transport Police said the death on the Cardiff side of the Wentloog freight terminal was "not suspicious".

It led to one service being cancelled and a number of delays. All lines were back to normal by 01:00 GMT on Sunday.
