South Wales Fire crews tackle two Maesteg grass fires

South Wales Fire crews are fighting two large grassfires in the Maesteg area.

Three fire crews from Maesteg and Ogmore Vale are dealing with one blaze at Caerau. They were called to the scene at 19:36 GMT.

Two fire crews from Kenfig Hill and Bridgend are also dealing with an earlier fire at Blaencaerau, assisted by a third team from the Mid and West Wales Fire Service.

The fire services were alerted to the grass fire at 19:07 GMT.
