Police find three Prescoed prison absconders

Police have found three men who escaped from an open prison in Monmouthshire.

Stephen Booth, 34, Jason Morris, 38, and John Phillips, 28 went missing from Prescoed jail on Tuesday evening.

They have all been convicted of separate offences of robbery.

Gwent Police said the men have been found and are in police custody before being returned to prison. It is believed they were located at a property in the Newport area on Wednesday night.
