Driver crashes car into house at Coity Road in Bridgend

A driver who crashed his car into a house is cut free from the vehicle after it ended up on its side in the front garden.

The car went through a garden wall before hitting the property on Coity Road, Bridgend, at lunchtime on Wednesday.

A fire crew used hydraulic equipment to free the man before he was taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.

South Wales Police said the crash had involved two vehicles.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.
