A man accused of carelessly driving a car which ploughed into a lollipop lady and five pupils outside a school has appeared in court.
Robert Bell, 61, from Rhoose, Vale of Glamorgan, allegedly lost control of his car near the gates of Rhws Junior School last June.
Karin Williams used her body as a human shield to protect the children.
Mr Bell did not enter a plea before Cardiff magistrates to a charge of driving without due care and attention.
He is expected to go on trial later this year.
