A vehicle exhaust factory is to create 220 jobs at a new site in Merthyr, the Welsh government has announced.
Tenneco-Walker (UK) Ltd currently employs 190 people at its existing site in Tredegar.
The second site at High Point, Dowlais Top, will make and assemble components.
Earlier, Europe's largest independent glass maker, Northern Ireland-based Carey Glass, announced it was creating 80 new jobs at Hawarden Business Park in Flintshire.
The new factory has been backed by finance from the Welsh government, which said 224 new jobs would be created and a further 36 maintained.
Economy minister Edwina Hart said: "This is an extremely important investment for Wales and for Merthyr specifically. It will provide a substantial boost to the local economy, creating more than 220 new skilled jobs in one of our priority economic sectors, offering a range of employment opportunities for local people.
"It's excellent news and I am delighted that Wales was selected as the location of choice as a number of other sites in Europe were under serious consideration for this project."
