Plastic ducks cause A4042 hold-ups near Abergavenny

Around 100 plastic ducks have caused traffic hold-ups on a main road in Monmouthshire.
Motorists alerted the police after seeing the toys on the A4042 at Llanellen, near Abergavenny, at 10:10 BST on Monday.
Gwent Police responded and helped clear the carriageway within half an hour.
The ducks were en route to a race at Llangynidr, Powys, organised by the Monmouthshire, Brecon and Abergavenny Canals Trust.
Phil Hughes, manager of the trust's Fourteen Locks centre near Newport, said: "We were transporting the ducks to our annual race in Llangynidr when one of the bags split open and about 100 ducks tried to make their escape.
"There were some police on the road behind us who helped us clear them up.
"The police were very good to us - we thought we'd be up before the beak!"
The recovered ducks joined around 2,000 due to be released at Llangynidr in an event to raise funds for the trust.
