The vehicle became stuck in a road in St Hilary, Vale of Glamorgan
A large army vehicle blocked a road in a village in the Vale of Glamorgan for more than three hours on Friday.
St Hilary resident Monica Dennis took to Twitter to post pictures of the lorry.
She tweeted: "So much for sat nav. Tanker currently stuck in lane by Manor Cottage, St Hilary."
Around 1,500 troops have converged at nearby St Athan in what is believed to be one of the largest military exercises held in Wales.
