Parc Derwen site near Bridgend set for 600 new homes

Persimmon Homes will build 590 new homes at Parc Derwen
Nearly 600 news homes are to be built on a site near Bridgend.
Contracts were exchanged on Tuesday between the Welsh government and Persimmon Homes to build on 98 acres (39 hectares) at Parc Derwen in Coity.
The development will create 75 full-time construction jobs over five years.
Planning permission for 1,500 homes has already been approved at the site, with around 450 houses already built.
