Cardiff Bus strikes suspended for pay ballot

Three further days of planned strikes by bus drivers in Cardiff have been called off as they consider a new pay deal.
The Unite union said it had suspended the action in September while members at Cardiff Bus are balloted on the revised offer. Bosses said it was a "step in the right direction".
But more action dates, including Thursday 1 October, remain in place.
The union, which has 540 members at the firm, initially rejected a 5% deal.
Cardiff Bus managing director Cynthia Ogbonna said: "We are extremely pleased that our latest meeting with Unite has resulted in a more positive outcome and the suspension of these forthcoming strikes is very welcomed."
