Talks end over Newport's Friars Walk shopping centre sale

Talks over a deal to sell Newport's Friars Walk to a Canadian firm for £110m have been called off.
The shopping centre opened in November 2015 after the city's council loaned the developers £90m to build it.
Queensberry Real Estate said the talks related to the centre being bought and not leased.
A spokesman added other parties were interested in buying Friars Walk and trading figures have been hitting projected forecasts.
