Firefighters remain at the site of a 2,000-tonne rubbish fire at a recycling plant in the Vale of Glamorgan almost a week after it started.

Crews have been at the Siteserv Recycling plant in Llandow since the blaze began on Thursday last week.

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has suspended the licence of the site operators and three crews are still on site "dampening down" the fire.

South Wales Fire Service said it could "be in attendance for some time."

Roads were closed around Llandow Industrial Estate and locals were advised to keep doors and windows shut due to the amount of smoke when the fire broke out.
