South Wales Police chief's last shift on patrol with son

A top police officer has spent one of his last shifts back on the beat with his own boy in blue.
Peter Vaughan is retiring as chief constable of South Wales Police after 33 years of service.
On one of his last shifts, he patrolled the streets of Ely in Cardiff with his son Sgt Scott Vaughan.
Peter Vaughan's career began policing Ferndale and Maerdy, Rhondda Cynon Taff, in 1984. Deputy Chief Constable Matt Jukes is taking over, external in January.
