Developers behind a hotel, restaurant and shop complex at Swansea's SA1 waterfront say 90 jobs will be created when it opens later this month.
The new £9m development overlooks the Prince of Wales Dock.
It includes a 132 bed Premier Inn hotel, 343 seat Beefeater Grill and a Tesco Express.
They also say it will boost the range of facilities for residents and businesses at £400m SA1 development built on the city's former docklands.
The 100 acre site is being developed for commercial, residential and leisure use.
Welsh construction company Jehu Project Services said it had been built ahead of schedule and the fit-out is now underway.
'Significant number'
Ninety five people were employed during the construction phase.
The complex was a joint venture between specialist retail and leisure developer Actoris and Waterstone Estates
Welsh Economy and Transport Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones said it was an important boost for the local economy.
"This investment has already provided employment for those working in the construction industry and will now create a significant number and range of jobs for local people which is very welcome in the current economic climate.
"It is also an important addition for SA1 providing a range of facilities that will benefit local residents and businesses and ensures it remains a key location for future investment. "
