Swansea City say they are close to selling all the club's tickets for the Championship football play-off against Reading at Wembley next week.

Over 36,000 of the 39,376 tickets allocated to Swansea have been sold.

Supporters have been queuing for more than six hours a day for seats for the game that would see the club promoted to the Premier League with a win.

The club has praised fans for their patience as they queue for tickets at the city's Liberty Stadium.

Season ticket holders, premier club and supporters' trust members were given priority with tickets then going on sale to the general public on Saturday.

The club said most of the remaining tickets for the match on 30 May, bank holiday Monday, were the higher priced ones.

The online and phone service has sold out and now the only way to get tickets is form the ticket office.

It closes at 1600 BST on Sunday and is due to reopen at 1000 BST on Monday.
