Swansea City: Capital One Cup final tickets sell out

The Swans' historic game kicks off at Wembley on Sunday, 24 February at 16:00 GMT

More than 30,000 fans will cheer on Swansea City in the Capital One Cup final later this month.

The club has sold its allocation for its first major cup final at Wembley.

Hundreds of fans queued outside Swansea's Liberty Stadium when tickets first went on sale on 30 January, but most have bought online.

The match against Bradford City on Sunday, 24 February kicks off at 16:00 GMT with the winners gaining a place in European competition next season.

The last remaining tickets were purchased by the club's Jack Army members who were not season ticket holders.

The Swans said they were set to take more than 33,000 to the game after an extra 1,000 tickets on top of the initial allocation also sold out.

Swansea City made it into their first major cup final after holding 10-man Chelsea to a 0-0 draw in the semi-final second leg at the Liberty Stadium last month.

The result gave them a 2-0 aggregate win, but was marred by the sending off of Chelsea's Eden Hazard after he appeared to kick a ball boy.

The Belgian midfielder was dismissed in the 80th minute after an incident behind the home side's goal.
