Poppit Sands grass fire tackled by crews near Cardigan

A large grass fire near a popular Pembrokeshire beach has been tackled by crews from three fire stations.
The blaze at Poppit Sands covered an area of about seven and a half acres across sands, gorse and dunes in the bay near Cardigan.
Crews from Cardigan, Crymych and Newcastle Emlyn attended the fire which was reported at 10:14 BST.
Mid and West Wales Fire Service said there was no danger to properties and the fire was put out at 12:20 BST.
