An RAF helicopter using heat-seeking equipment has found a man who reported himself lost on a cliff in Swansea.

The 64-year-old dialled 999 when he became disorientated on Mumbles Hill on Tuesday evening.

The Sea King helicopter was called in when South Wales Police and the coastguard could not find the man on foot.

RAF search teams using an infra-red camera found the man sheltering on the hill at around 20:15 GMT.
