Ops cancelled at hospitals in Swansea and Bridgend

A number of non-urgent routine operations at Morriston Hospital in Swansea and the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend have been postponed due to winter pressures.

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board said urgent surgery and short-stay procedures were continuing as normal.

It said: "We understand the distress that a postponed operation causes patients, and apologise for this."

It said the situation was under review.
