A mother has collapsed and died of the rare heart condition sudden arrhythmic death syndrome just days before Christmas.

Nurse Elizabeth John, 34, of Llanelli, was found after colleagues raised the alarm when she did not arrive at work.

She had already wrapped her daughter Olivia's presents and was looking forward to her first Christmas off work in five years.

Olivia, 13, said: "I will miss her so much."

Ms John's aunt Lynne Lloyd added: "This has left a huge hole in all our lives.

"She was a fit and healthy young girl, she wasn't ill and there really isn't a reason so it's so much harder to accept."
