A company that won a bid to set up a local TV channel in the Swansea area has successfully applied to extend its transmission to Neath and Port Talbot.

Bay TV's licence, which it won in January 2014 to cover the Swansea and Llanelli areas, plans to begin broadcasting in the autumn.

Bay TV Swansea secured one of three local TV licences awarded in Wales.

Made in Cardiff launched in October, while Bay TV Clwyd is due to start in Mold, Flintshire, later this year.

Bay TV said it hopes to extend its coverage to Carmarthen in the future.
