A drop-in session is being held on Friday for workers affected by the winding up of a steelwork business in Pembrokeshire.

Sixty-nine workers were made redundant after it was announced on 27 October that Main Port Engineering Ltd (MPE), at Pembroke Dock, had entered administration.

It employed 157 people, and a further 88 jobs are still at risk.

Job support providers will attend the Bridge Innovation Centre session.

The company provides services to the petrochemical industry but struggled to find customers after Milford Haven's Murco Oil Refinery closed.

Main Port Engineering opened a new £1.8m manufacturing site in June 2015 with the aim of creating 30 jobs and safeguarding the then workforce of 155.
