£1.5m funding for Coleg Sir Gar's Llanelli campus plans

Plans to develop Coleg Sir Gar's Llanelli campus in Carmarthenshire have been boosted by £1.5m of Welsh Government funding.

The college wants to build new performing arts and sport facilities at the Graig Campus.

It also proposes units for entrepreneurs to develop business ideas.

The total project is expected to cost £3.2m.

Welsh Government Education Secretary, Kirsty Williams said the facilities "will help develop the next generation of talent".
