The editor of the Ceredigion Herald has pleaded not guilty to printing an article likely to identify the victim of a sex offence when they are automatically given lifelong anonymity.
The lawyer for Thomas Sinclair told Llanelli Magistrates' Court, Carmarthenshire, the article was not "likely" to identify the person.
Mr Sinclair, 37, from Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, denied breaching the Sexual Offences Act.
Judgement has been reserved until May.
