Former teammate pays tribute to 'Judge' Robin Smith
Retired cricketer and BBC Radio Solent commentator Kevan James has been remembering his former teammate and England batter Robin Smith, who has died aged 62.
Smith, known as "Judge", spent his entire county career, spanning over 22 years, playing for Hampshire.
Born in South Africa, he played 62 tests in the late '80s and early '90s for England.
James recalls meeting Smith for the first time and tells BBC Radio Solent's Alun Newman where that nickname came from.
