Queen's Baton Relay: Maltese wrestlers following Games dream

For a number of athletes, the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow represent an opportunity to forget about their day jobs and focus on sport.

It is a philosophy which is shared by wrestlers Adam Vella and Andrea Saliba, who both hope to add to Malta's medal tally when they compete in Glasgow this summer.

National coach Jesmond Giordimaina, an ex-wrestler and Olympian who participated at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games, revealed the athletes will fund the trip to Glasgow themselves.

BBC reporter Mark Beaumont joined a training session and discovered how success at the Games could provide a funding boost for wrestling in the country.

Malta was one of the last locations of the international journey of the Queen's Baton Relay.

The baton stopped for a short stay in Gibraltar before returning to the British Isles on Sunday 11 May.
