Oscar Pistorius verdict: First day round-up

Judge Thokozile Masipa began reading out the verdict in the trial of Oscar Pistorius for the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
She gave a summary of the proceedings, analysing the evidence and the defence and prosecution cases.
But after concluding that Mr Pistorius could not have committed murder, the judge adjourned the trial saying that a charge of culpable homicide was still under consideration.
