Mogadishu hotel attack: Two car bombs and gunfire reported
Armed attackers have taken control of the Hayat Hotel in the Somali capital, officials say.
According to police, the group detonated two explosives outside the hotel, before entering the building and opening fire.
An affiliate group of al-Qaeda, al-Shabab, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
