Pro-democracy protests as new Hong Kong leader sworn in
Tens of thousands of pro-democracy marchers have taken to the streets of Hong Kong as the former British colony marks 15 years since the return to Chinese rule.
The rally takes place annually in support of human rights, but has been bolstered by anger towards Beijing.
This year, the marchers used the event to express their mistrust of CY Leung, who was sworn in as Hong Kong's new leader earlier in the day.
