The 'Pokemon soft toy uncle' rescued by the internet

For the last 15 years, a man known affectionately as "Uncle David" has frequented a corner of the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. He sells trinkets and soft toys daily to make ends meet.

But last week he was left in a loss-making predicament after a mystery buyer never showed up to collect a bulk order of toys.

Luckily, his community came through for him.
