High rise feline rescue drama

Curiosity came close to killing one cat in Singapore this week after it fell out onto a 12th storey ledge on an apartment block.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said the dramatic rescue was a reminder to pet owners in high-rise apartments to keep their windows closed or put mesh screens up.

The cat was rescued unharmed and reunited with its owner.
