North Korea military parade combines missiles and pom-poms

North Korea has put on a huge parade in Pyongyang to mark the 105th anniversary of the birth of the nation’s founding president, Kim Il-sung.
The anniversary is known as Day of the Sun, as Kim Il-sung is often symbolised by the sun.
Saturday's parade was seen as a show of military force as tensions rise with the United States.
The BBC’s reporter John Sudworth, who attended the parade, said he could feel the ground shake as soldiers and rockets passed by.
Female soldiers goose-stepped with perfect precision.
North Korea's flag was waved with vigour.
A group of men held pom-poms.
A formation of planes created the figures of 105 overhead.
Leader Kim Jong-un, and grandson of the nation’s founding father, waved to the huge crowds.
And a soldier filmed the action as it passed by.
