On Saturday the Indian government will launch its first "hackathon", to encourage economic growth in the country.

The 32-hour competition will pit young coders, designers and filmmakers against each other for cash prizes of up to 25,000 Indian rupees ($455; £300).

The participants from across 11 cities will be expected to produce infographics, mobile apps or films from datasets reflecting the government's next five year plan for growth.

Ahead of the event, Sam Pitroda, adviser to the Indian Prime Minister, and Montek Singh Ahluwalia, India's Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, will be taking your questions on India's future and its upcoming hackathon event.

They will answer your questions in a live Twitter Q&A on Friday 5 April between 16:00-17:00 BST (20:30-21:30 IST).
