Australia fires: Your pictures
Bushfires raging on the outskirts of Perth in Western Australia have destroyed homes and forced the evacuation of hundreds of residents. Dave Hancock captured this image in the early hours of Monday, 7 February.

Jenny Sandford, who took this picture of smoke rising on Sunday, 6 February, was forced to move her horses to safety, although the fire in her area was later brought under control.
The horizon was obscured for Jim Campbell, who waited anxiously to discover whether the nearby blaze would spread to his home near the valley of the Canning River.
Helicopters were battling the blaze throughout the evening, according to one local resident. Photo: Graham Lane
