Cork city centre flooding alert
- Published
Low-lying areas of Cork city centre are in danger of being flooded during high tides in the next few days, the council has said.
A tidal surge and strong south to south-easterly winds are predicted.
This increases the possibility that tide levels may be higher than usual at high tide and may cause flooding, Cork city council has said.
Householders and business owners have been asked to take precautions against the risk.
