The workman killed in a sewer accident in County Dublin has been named as Alan Harris, who was a cousin of the Irish footballer Robbie Keane.
It is believed the victim was overcome by fumes while carrying out maintenance work on underground pipes in a housing estate in Portmarnock on Wednesday.
Mr Harris was working with his brother, Stephen, who was seriously injured.
Keane, who captains both the Republic of Ireland and LA Galaxy teams, has not commented on the family tragedy.
The player trained with his international team in Malahide on Thursday morning, a few miles from the scene of his cousins' accident.
