MH17 anniversary: Theories about what brought plane down
Friday marks the first anniversary of the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine that killed all 298 people on board.
There are various theories as to how the plane was brought down, but all seem to agree that it was struck by a rocket fired by forces involved in the region's internal conflict.
Establishing who shot down MH17, how they did it, and from where, is the job of a Dutch-led international investigation team, which hopes to publish some of its findings in the New Year.
