Poland taxis in anti-Uber protest

Thousands of taxis have snarled up Warsaw traffic in a protest against the ride-sharing service Uber.

Taxi drivers see Uber as unfair competition, saying the US-based firm avoids licensing laws.

There were smaller taxi protests in other Polish cities - Lodz, Poznan and Wroclaw.

The drivers went at 10km/h (6 mph), blocking major roads.
