Malta's journalist murder: Vigil for Daphne Caruana Galizia

After Maltese journalist and blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia was murdered in a car bombing, thousands gathered at candlelit vigils in her honour.

Family friend Luke Frendo told the assembled crowd: "It is definitely the saddest day that I have lived."
