Belarus: Two rivals, two very different messages

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko dismissed heckles by factory workers challenging his authority as anger mounts over his disputed re-election.

In contrast, the main opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya presented herself, in a video message, as willing to act as interim leader.
