Ballymun: Woman's body found in 'unexplained circumstances'

The body of a woman has been found at a house in the north Dublin suburb of Ballymun in "unexplained circumstances", gardaí (Irish police) have said.

Gardaí said the investigation was at an early stage and that no further information was available.

Broadcaster RTÉ said the woman was aged in her 50s and had been found with stab wounds.

The scene has been preserved and Garda Technical Bureau has been notified.
